Call or e-mail for pricing and/or more information The Uzbek "Loli Nosh" is a cloth food or bread cover. This one must have been used by a very special family as the dark background cloth is a very finely woven velvet instead of the more commonly used cotton or linen fabric. The orange-toned silk Suzani stitch-work combines with the velvet to give this piece a very rich and regal look.

Superb natural dye colors give a soft glow to this antique Uzbek wall hanging made up by joining smaller panels of hand loomed ikat fabric. The top and bottom panels show the 'abr', or cloud, pattern. Backing is Russian printed cotton cloth.

A6 Turkoman Bokche
(2'-0" X 2'-6") - Uzbekistan c.1900

These pieces are most likely of Ersari clan origin and are a wool felt with fabic applicae and wool tassles. Probably used in travel for protection, and in the yurt for storage, of a mirror. Unbelievably almost perfect condition!
