Beyoglu Pedestrian Development
Pedestrianisation of this area of Istanbul, characterised by "Belle Époque" and "Art Nouveau" building styles, has helped solve the problems of traffic and pollution, and brought added vitality to the neighbourhood. The project included the addition of infrastructure and both hard and soft landscape elements.
